A doorbell system consists of 4 parts – a doorbell chime, a push button, a transformer, and the wiring, all of which are connected together (see the wiring diagrams below). If there is an issue with the chime, the chime may or may not be the issue. See the "Troubleshooting" section for common issues and troubleshooting tips.

The Wired Doorbell Chimes offers a classic two-note "Ding Dong" sound for the front door button and an additional "Dong" for the rear or side door. The cover measures 6.875" L x 4.8125" W, and the base measures 6.75" L x 4.625" W, featuring a textured white modern finish. It is easy to install to your doorbell button and doorbell transformer, with a 2-year limited warranty.

The snap-on cover makes it easy to install, and it is compatible with a 16-volt/10 VA or 16-volt/15 VA transformer (not included) when connecting to a regular doorbell. Customers have mentioned that this wired chime works with video doorbells such as Ring, but the company cannot guarantee this.

If the chime is not working properly, the issue may or may not be with the chime itself. The problem could be with the doorbell button, transformer, or the wiring. Troubleshooting steps are available in the manual and on the company's website.
